Esoteric Voodoo, the APRM+M, and the E.G.S.
Ecclesia Gnostica Spiritualis (E.G.S.) is a non-corporeal church with the Black Pope, Tau Ogoade-Orfeo III (Hector Francois Jean-Maine) as its spiritual head. Founded by his father, the Haitian native Lucien Francois Jean-Maine, the E.G.S. serves as the current and spiritual life blood of two distinctly different Traditions: Esoteric Voodoo (commonly referred to as Voudon Gnosticism) and the Antient and Primitive Rite of Memphis + Mizraim (APRM+M) which is a form of Spiritual Masonry that is completely separate from the Ancient and Primitive Rite of Memphis & Misraïm (APRM&M).
L.F. Jean-Maine is the progenitor of Esoteric Voodoo. LFJM would synthesize various strands of Occultism and Magical Societies including his native Haitian Vodou, Martinism, Cagliostro's Egyptian Rite, as well as the Reuss-era O.T.O. and the Monastery of the Seven Rays. This would all be rolled up into his O.T.O.A. (sometimes called the Franco-Haitian O.T.O ) and his more esoteric order, La Couleuvre Noire (L.C.N.) all within the current of the Wandering Gnostic Bishops bestowed upon him via various consecrations from the late 1890's to 1910 e.v.
In 1921, LFJM reorganized the APRM&M into the version this lineage now carries which is denoted by "Ancient" becoming "Antient" and a "+" instead of an "&/and" to give us APRM+M. This reorganization was along purely Ecclesiastical lines, removing the Rites from their corporeal and physical temple limitations and crafted it into something entirely esoteric which can be connected with via scrying and astral work.
Back on the Esoteric Voodoo front, H.F. Jean-Maine would really then get things going with the opening of the Temple of the Two Yggdrasils and the bringing in of Franco-American Michael Bertiaux who would add in elements of Shintoism, Lovecraftian Esotericism, Chaos Magick, and more. This makes Esoteric Voodoo an actively open practice sibling of Haitian Vodou but still absolutely distinct from it's sibling as well as the other Traditional (Exoteric) and Closed forms of ADRs such as the 21 Divisions and Candomblé, as well as Appalachian and African American Hoodoo. It should also be noted that it is also distinct from the open practice of New Orleans Voodoo despite many similarities and modern day crossover.
The Monastery of the Sixth Sun is the religious arm of the Citlalicue Fellowship. Following the example set by the Polytheistic Monastic Movement and in the spirit of Congressional Illuminism, members of the M6S have their own Vows and Rule to which they hold to often working within Esoteric Voodoo, Spiritual Masonry, Double Current Thelema, and Mexikatl Revivalism.

The Monastery of the Sixth Sun and its subgroup, Citlallo Lodge are operated by Tau Cializtli (they/elle) and are currently based out of Colorado, U.S.A. upon occupied Abya Yala.
